Robert M. Rosenzweig received his bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Michigan in 1952 and his master's degree the following year. In 1956, he received his Ph.D. in political science from Yale. He joined the Stanford University staff in 1962 as associate dean of the Graduate Division and a lecturer in political science.
